animal farm

pbcc doug sauder illustrated leviticus16 “a priest and 2 goats”
which set sail my wandering mind boats
to float to orwell’s animal farm
as fatima noted, my tendency to quote animalistic balm

lit up atoning significance of yom kippur
under old covenant the priest was man’s sin purifier skipper
under new covenant, we have an Atoner eternal
no need for goat-bull-scapegoat-ram offerings to save us from dante’s inferno

do u have your ducks in a row?
which way are u skinning the cat to keep aglow?
this blog attempts to take the horse to water
don’t be like the frog in warm water grotto
put the horse ahead of the cart
as u rev different life engines to start
don’t settle for pig in the poke
if u do, restart using the choke
learn from the geese, flight to breeze
our faults to tease, strengths to please

amazing love how can it be?
that my King would die for me
amazing love i know it’s true
it’s my joy to honor U
in all i do
i honor U

leviticus discovery how scapegoat came about
william holman hunt’s painting beautifully tout

the scapegoat

rainbow connected

lend me your ears and i’ll sing u a song
and i’ll try not to sing out of key
i’ll get by with a little help from my throng

woke up this mornin’ feelin’ fine
there’s somethin’ special on my mind
last night i became a new girl in hr neighbourhood, whoa yeah
somethin’ tells me i’m into something good

goto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1nRoOGwAvw&mode=related&search=d
to hear and see

so kermit, i found the rainbow connection
with a little help from fellow travellers’ affection
cos’ all we need is love
and collusion from up above

si, antonio machado,
muy encantado
caminante, no hay camino
se hace camino al andar
que sera, sera

these boots are made for walking
life’s made by walking the talking

if u touch me
you’ll understand what happiness is
look a new day
has just began

day by day
oh dear Lord,
to catch Thy rainbow i pray

somewhere over the rainbow
skies are blue
and the dreams that u dare to dream
really do come true
thanks to u and U

though the pen, mightier than the sword can
pbcc andy drake revealed the tongue can be mightier than the pen
text at least can be edited and rejected
but verbal poison lingers and sears indelibly to heart affected

james 3, verses 1 through twelve
on loose lips and tongue delve
mere little member that “boasts great things”
likened to a consuming forest fire, defiling commoners and kings

“no man can tame the tongue” wrote james
it’s “an unruly evil, full of deadly poison” he claims
for “out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing”
spirit to destroy vs kind thoughtful darts to direct, His glory to sing

admonishing brethren to project sync’d authenticity residing
in a true believer, for “a spring cannot send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening”
no spring yields both salt water and fresh
indeed evil and goodness does clash

au contraire, sticks and stones merely break bones
but verbal slings and arrows along with provocative tones
bring deep emotional hurt
once in heart, insert

on the other hand
the tongue can spit inspiration rant
spew positive energy and love spurts
melodious songbird chirps

watching concert for diana
re-inventing police melodrama

every single day
every word you say
every game you play
every heart you slay
He’ll be watching you

sharing a blibical view of love cove
with eugene peterson paraphasing 1 corinthians 13: 1-8
“if i speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love
i’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate”

“if i speak God’s Word with powerful sway,
revealing all His mysteries and making everything plain as day,
and if i have faith that says to a mountain, “jump,” and it jumps,
but i don’t love, i’m nothing”, eugene sums

“if i give everything i own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr,
but i don’t love, i’ve gotten nowhere”, true satire attire.
so, no matter what i say, what i believe, and what i do,
i’m bankrupt without love dew.

love never gives up
love cares more for others than for self.
love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
love doesn’t strut,
doesn’t have a swelled head,
doesn’t force itself on others,
isn’t always “me first,”
doesn’t fly off the handle,
doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
doesn’t revel when others grovel,
takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
puts up with anything,
trusts God always,
always looks for the best,
never looks back,
but keeps going to the end.
love never dies.

corinthians 13: 1-3 rankles
though i speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
and have not charity,
i am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
and though i have the gift of prophecy,
and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge
and though i have all faith, so that i could remove mountains,
and have not charity, i am nothing
and though i bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though i give my body to be burned,
and have not charity,
it profiteth me nothing

so on this declaration of independence day
if we have freedom and hath not responsibility at bay
and have not the grounding of God’s wisdom and love
we have nothing unless in Him to one another in love we serve

silver peak

a family trip to athens marks this silver year
cherishing past family travel memoirs dear
imbued with youthful energy, discovery wheel to steer
good eats and sights, miles to clear

scaled matala caves and cliffs of santorini
check out greco april windmills symphony

et voila, we made it to silver peak

garnering more stamina for new heights to seek

hope to unveil more life kick
as each day together tick
each july 3 stamp to lick and stick

i want to be lalo’s girl
i want to be lalo’s girl
that’s God’s blessing to me…
what a faithful, thankful girl i’d be

flowers are smiling bright,
smiling for our delight,
smiling so tenderly
for all the world, u and me

love, this is my song
here is a song, a serenade to u
the world cannot be wrong
if in this world, there is Him and u

i shook your nerves and rattled your brain
too much love drives a man insane
i broke your will,
but what a thrill
goodness, gracious, great balls of fire
